The Happy Tart Falls Church Bakery Cafe

I took my best friend to the Happy Tart, when we both had first moved to NOVA because it was one of the gluten free options we found on Yelp. My friend has had a gluten intolerance for awhile now and sometimes a good gf place is hard to find. Man is this place a gem. My friend 's eyes lit up when the barista behind the counter told her 'everything here is gluten free. ' I 'm not personally gluten free, but I sometimes crave their banana nutella cupcakes. They 're so good, the fact they are gf is irrelevant. To boot, their coffee and crepes are also amazing. The owner often comes out and chats with you. The business hosts local bands and has periodic tastings-one recently from Blue Bee Cider. Highly recommended-even if you 're not gf!

This place is amazing!! Never been to a place that was strictly gluten free and I was in heaven! Had lunch there and bought some baked goods! Will definitely be going back!

Can’t believe I haven’t reviewed this gem yet, but it’s my go-to spot for GF treats, brunch, and cakes! The cafe is lovely and they serve delicious pots of tea and locally roasted coffee. My non-GF family and friends are always happy to enjoy a treat or bite to eat here, also.

My husband and I went to Happy Tart today. We were not disappointed. All the food is delicious we had quiche, potato soup, crepe with turkey, brie, calvados, side salad and fried potatos. I had a melt in my mouth almond peach petit four and a lemon custard tart OMG! Everything excellent and you didn't have to ask is this gluten free. Go there fast and taste a bit of heaven.

This gluten free patisserie is a local favorite, and from my first visit today I can see why. Like my favorite vegetarian restaurant in the world Blind Faith Cafe in Evanston, Illinois , the food here is so good that anyone can appreciate it dietary restrictions or not. For a light lunch today I had a delicious soup of the day 'fully loaded potato ' and a to die for chocolate pastry Opera slice . Quick service, very friendly staff. Highly recommended!
