Fairway Creamery

Ice cream was delicious. Flavors were creative and tasty. Indoor and outdoor seating was comfortable.

Going to the pool nearby while also living on the surface of the sun that late August brings us, it was natural to make our way back to Fairway Creamery for the first time in ages. Sadly, this one missed the mark for me. First off, I love that this place is built into the neighborhoods, and any city councils that come across this: more of this needs to be allowed, please! That said, the soft serve was just not very good. Years back, I tried one here that I enjoyed so much I still remember it, but the vanilla/blueberry twist had almost no flavor at all. The texture was icy and not creamy. The best way I can describe it is like a diet, dairy-free ice cream. Not my thing, and I'd steer clear down the road. My wife got their traditional ice cream and it was good, so I see the potential here. I can see how this spot can be a favorite for many, however after several visits, including trying their spendy doughnuts, I can say this spot just isn't for me, unfortunately.

Good ice cream except for salted pretzel has a bad texture

I'd give it a 5 because the food is out of this world. It's beautiful, but I witness workers using gloves while cross contaminating literally everything. Storing the condiment stand with gloves while sticking their hands in the small trash cans to the big one, and continuing to stock w/ same gloves, using their dirty id cards to enter a door, who knows what they did back there with those gloves only to return and continue stocking. Touching moneybthen handing you food. Come on! The gloves are to protect the public, not them. They need some training in cross contamination. Sorry .

Super disappointing. Very unfriendly both the older woman at the coffee counter and the younger on the ice cream side. Spent $18 and felt like a waste. Paid extra for sprinkles and got about 20 sprinkles on my cone. We had both soft serve and scope, andneither were impressive. So disappointing especially because I had my young niece visiting me from the east coast and wanted totreat her. Much better options in the area like Summer Salt or Betty Rae?s.
