Chez Soul Southern Cuisine - Fairfield

We drove through fairfield, looked for lunch and came over this wonderful restaurant. the service was excellent and the food was even better. I had the fried chicken and fish comb. they pulled the skin away, but connected and fried it. Amazing, the fried cat was delicious and not fat. I can't even explain how good the red buzz and tears were. I can't wait to eat here again.

I ordered the take. wife took up the food, so can really not comment customer service but my wife thought it would be great. I had the fish chicken lunch combo with greens. I thought a piece of cats would be stingy, but it was a huge piece. it was the best part of the meal. slightly seasoned, but delicious. the greens needed salt. they work with a smoky profile for their green and huh, that is ok, but a little salt would bring a little better. the chicken was cooked well. a beautiful presentation. they forgot to include my wife's cake so I killed her to star.

My friends brought me to my birthday to chez soul. Of course, eating was as good as usual. the service was great. the ladies were very attentive, keep our glasses with our drinks and everything we needed. I ordered the grill wels, grilled to the right, fluffy, the hush weep, were golden brown, makkaroni and cheese I thought was a little dry but otherwise good. my friends ordered two items for their meat, huh and fish or bark. they commented that their meat was delicious and great portions. they give you so big portions that I took a few home, but actually I wanted to leave room for dessert. I had my taste buds for brotpudding, but they were out of him. So I had her delicious German chocolate cake, one of my favorites. all in all we had a great meal and fantastic service. I sincerely recommend chez soul to take her friends on their birthdays or non-birth days!

The staff was friendly and nice. the greens were not seasoned, and the peach-cobbler was not sweet enough. the yams were tasty, the mais muffin was delicious. I had the lunch menu. I had the grill ribs with one side. only 2 ribs (small) it would be nice with 3-4 ribs for $9.00

On a Sunday afternoon, the restaurant was fairly busy but comfortable to dine in, policy is show vaccination card with ID For dine in which honestly made me feel comfortable, I could relax, take my mask off and enjoy my meal which was five star excellent! everything Was cooked to my satisfaction, catfish and chicken meal dinner was very delicious! I will definitely return and recommend, Did I mention the service? All staff were very friendly and attentive
