Bayside - Fairfield Bay

Our first time for dinner in Bayside and we will be back! Excellent service from our waiter, Zane and manager, Deb! Enjoy the Salmon Dip appetizer, seafood soup and share the Ozarka fried fish with Fritten and Cole Slav. Full bar and wine card and excellent dessert menu.

If you do not read the entire review, read this: Bring this restaurant to the top of your list while you are from anywhere in a 150 miles radius. They won't be disappointed. First and foremost is COVID-19. This restaurant and its entire staff have taken all precautions to ensure their safety and safety. I saw masks on all, gloves, sanitated every stand after each cartridge and a general concern that shows that customers are their top priority. Well, for setting: Perfect for a original, and very overdue, date for my bride. The tables and settings have been perfectly adjusted and dimensioned to enjoy the company of the other with the right amount of hand-held space without getting cramped or feeling on opposite sides of the room. The lighting was perfect and the decor created a balanced atmosphere. The service was far beyond expectations. Everyone knows that bad service never for good food. Our server, Zayne, was top-notch and showed pride and care in everything he did. A short look around proved that he treated all his customers with the same service. Little things are important, and Zayne showed that he took care of the small details that make a person’s culinary experience exceptional. (Open Kimono, my bride and I are human observers. We saw two somewhat difficult customers made completely happy during our dinner because his seeming drive to satisfy each of his customers. The service was fast and attentive without feeling uncomfortable or feeling us through our meal to turn tables quickly. After a great setting and phenomenal service, the food was absolutely nothing! My Ribeye Steak was a perfect medium, rare, seasoned to perfection with freshly roasted onions above. My bride lasagna was full of taste, and our dessert, chocolate cheesecake, was so rich, but somehow almost fluffy, was the perfect end to the evening. The house Cabernet Sauvignon was enjoyed during dinner and was a wonderful pairing during the meal. This restaurant should be at the top of your list when you are somewhere in the area. It is perfect for couples or larger assemblies and even has outdoor seating if you want to enjoy the fresh mountain air with your culinary experience. My bride and I will be back and have no doubt that our experience exceeds our expectations again!

We were very happy with our experience. The atmosphere was great for Date Night. Our server was attentive. The salad bar was small but still had many options and was clean and fresh. The food was attractively plated. This was the best nativity I had personally, even from much larger cities.

Our experience in Bayside was about phenomenal. The service was excellent. Zayne was a big server. Steak was the best I ever had. The lasagna was also amazing. The cheesecake was the cherry on the experience. If you go to Bayside, ask Zayne as your server. They won't be disappointed. Better than Ruth's Chris, in my opinion.

We have eaten at the Bayside a number of times and we never had a bad meal. The food, service and atmosphere are all excellent. If you like tuna steaks you will love theirs, moist, tender and cooked your way. Steaks are wonderful as is their Prime Rib. And one last thing, the beer selection is great with good prices. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
