Bidrage med feedbackSunday brunch on the patio with large yellow umbrellas providing shade on a warm summer afternoon is hard to beat. The soft-shelled crab and poached eggs with smoked salmon were both scrumptious. Sun-dappled shadows on the white tablecloth added to the picturesque atmosphere. We decided to celebrate our 55th wedding anniversary with a special lunch at Mille Fleurs rather than our usual dinner. It was a good move.
Meh... Not the Mille Fleurs I remember. Food appearance is good but how can you make a seabass taste like tilapia, dry and tasteless? Lamb was obviously defrosted. Looked good but tasted like nothing. And of course all of that at the exuberant cost. Service is good but you have to wait forever and they weren't even busy. P.S. The reply hits the right points, thank you. We were happy, no problem with the waiter, he was nice and friendly, I always tip well and yes, thank you for the free dessert it was a nice touch. Unfortunately, I can't back down on food preparedness just because it supposed to be superb given the cost. And it just wasn't, sorry
Absolutely amazing experience. We requested and were able to sit on the patio where the plants and flowers, the center fountain and the beautiful tile work was fantastic. The service was impeccable and the food phenomenal. Our table started with an order of devilled eggs, an order of escargot and a beautiful salad of heirloom tomatoes with fried eggplant chips. Very innovative! We each order bread $4) per person but definitely worth the price. For our main courses one of us had the lamb chops and polenta, another chose the steak au poivre with Parmesan frites and the two ladies had the 1/2 lobster salad with avocado, grapefruit wedges, and mango. Every dish was cooked perfectly and presented as a work of art. We took our own wine and paid the $65 corkage fee. We were told if we purchased a second bottle they would waive the corkage fee. Good to know. We were all full and very satisfied so no one ordered dessert. Next time we need to save room for dessert. It is not a cheap place to go, but for special occasions it is a must try!
Beautiful location and beautiful restaurant. Lovely food and great service for our anniversary. We were treated well and given a special treat for our anniversary celebration. I will be back when the occasion strikes.
Mille Fleurs is a joy to eat at as the service is impeccable and the food is so good you won't need a doggy bag to take home. The atmosphere is magical in their pretty lit up courtyard. Thank you to our wonderful waiter and all of the friendly staff!
