Bidrage med feedbackThe scampi Marie was excellent. The Penne Mare Monti was a pesto dish, with a bit too much pesto for my taste. Those who enjoy pesto will appreciate this dish. It had plenty of sauce, which is not always the case at other restaurants. The Ginger Carot, a carrot soup, was also very good. I initially thought it was a carrot salad. I gave it a 4-star rating only because there was no explanation of the Italian dishes on the menu, which made it difficult for me to decide what to order. I had to search for explanations online to help me make a decision, and even then, I wasn't completely sure when I ordered the penne dish.
The portions at this restaurant are small. The SPAGHETTI CON POLPETTE only had two meatballs. The TORTELLINI PANNA E PROSCIUTTO was extremely small. The CHICKEN FETTUCCINE ALFREDO was made with cubed processed chicken, not chicken breast as I had expected. The TIRAMISU was more like pudding with something on top, but it was unclear what it was. When the meal arrived, it was cold and the Fettuccine noodles were dried out, hard, crunchy, and tough. The price was very high at $93.00 for three dishes. I had higher expectations for the price and will not be ordering from here again.
NO linguine! Spaghetti is NOT linguine. Plenty of clams well cooked. Secondly there was not the traditional garlic wine.sauce but was a tomato based sauce. Sauce was delicious but wasnt what I was hoping for.Cest la vie. I will try them again. They do have a good looking menu. Ill let you know.
Wow. We ordered the fettuccini bolognese, veal piccata and the chicken and fettuccini alfredo for our 16th wedding anniversary. My husband is half Italian and was raised by his Italian mom to exceptional Italian cooking. We both LOVED our entrees. Pasta was perfectly cooked. Bolognese is just like Nonnas. Bread and olive oil/balsamic was the perfect starter. Son loved his Alfredo. The veal piccata was divine just the right amount of salty, lemony goodness. Not overpowering at all. This is GREAT Italian. This place is not for Olive Garden folks, so if thats what you like, then you will need to re educate your palate. This is the real deal. Buon appetito! Cant wait to try this place in person for the Limoncello.
The lasagna was okay, but it was dry and lacking flavor in the meat. The sauce was a bit acidic but not terrible. The gnocchi with meat was completely inedible, with a sauce full of grease and overcooked pasta that turned to mush. The meatballs were pretty good, and my daughter enjoyed the kids' spaghetti and meatballs.
