Food and service is amazing! Also there a lake nearby where you can go fishing ! Friendly staff. Recommend for family time together, eat, fish and have a great time.
This place is a true hidden jewl in the traditional culinary scene! Situated in the N311 road just after the village of Vazeacova, it's idyllic for a family meal where you can literally fish your meal! Service is good and friendly and the food is great!! Our menu was Smoked Trout pate (LOVED it!! Cold starters (presunto and 2 types of cheese Hot starters (wild boar, mushrooms, mix of sausages and padron peppers Friend baby trouts Mains were Grilled Trouts and mixed grilled meats (veal, pork, rabbit . dessert was Cheesecake and Golden Summer Freanch Toast Coffee was served the traditional way and 2 amazing home made liquor!! Absolutely divine!!!
Authentic honest food. Prepared and served with love. Expect laid back athmosphere, down to earth attitude, friendly smiles, great nature surrounding this simple restaurant in the middle of no where. Green because the water that flows to them is used as energy. Typically Portugese dishes from goat, picanha and home made deserts and of course not the forget the fish/Trouts from the fresh water.
