Cerveceria El Refugio - Ezcaray

Great restaurants loved by locals with only ten tables. We were lucky we went there after 10pm and got a table immediately. The produces are incredibly fresh and all local. The choices of tapas is varied, Andalusian squid, cazuelita de pisto with quail egg, Bacalao from Rioja, squid tempura. This is also a good place for skewers with onions and anchovy. The place is really packed on weekends. Our server was very dedicated and friendly, helping us to understand the menu and making suggestions. Including their delicious tomatoes salad with onions and olive oil! The price is right, really not expensive. Great value for money. They offer a daily menu for €12 which is a “steal”.

The woman who serves me was rather unpleasant and while of my dish was quite good (revueltos de setas) the rest was average and badly heated .

Fui a comer con mi pareja. El menú es asequible y rico, la atención también genial. Íbamos con un perro y pudimos comer dentro del bar. Salimos encantados. Lo recomiendo.

En la céntrica plaza del kiosko, cenamos un par de raciones y desayunamos el día siguiente, comida rica, precio razonable y buena atención, Pepe, uno de los camareros, un crack.

Restaurante de comida casera en la plaza de Ezcaray. Nos pedimos los canelones de boletus y estaban riquísimos. Rapidez en el servicio y buena calidad-precio.
