Café Rouge Exeter

We visited a bustling restaurant during a pre-Christmas shopping trip. The atmosphere was lively and crowded, typical for a Saturday lunchtime. Our waitress was extremely friendly and the food was delicious, exactly what we were looking for. The wine was a bit expensive, but luckily my husband was treating us, as we had been doing all the Christmas shopping.

The staff at the restaurant did not have my reservation on file, but luckily there were seats available. I had booked in advance to secure a table for my elderly mother who has difficulty walking long distances.

Just an occasional Saturday evening out, but we were made warmly welcome. Service was excellent and the food tasty and as described. We really enjoyed our cocktails and did not feel rushed as the food came at reasonable intervals. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant. It's also really nice to be able to use Tesco points don't feel we have to economise on the drinks when the food is paid for with vouchers and it was so easy to organise.

We had a fantastic evening at this restaurant. The venue was unique and the staff were incredibly polite and energetic.

Friendly, lively restaurant on a Christmas shopping trip. very busy as they would expect on Saturday afternoon. our waitress was so nice. what was necessary. wee pretty expensive- fortunately a man treated us as we all made Christmas shopping!
