Oba Noodle - Exeter

We enjoyed delicious comfort food on a chilly winter evening at this restaurant. Our group ordered duck noodles, Oba ramen, wings, and gyoza. We plan on returning next time we are in the area. It would be great if they stayed open a bit later, but it seems like the locals dine earlier than visitors.

Having grown up in New York City, I had reservations about trying a noodle house in New Hampshire. However, my doubts were quickly dispelled as we had an exceptional dining experience. Our group consisted of two adults and three kids ages 15, 12, and 10, and there was something on the menu for everyone. The service was prompt and friendly, with the staff even going above and beyond by holding a table for us in the small dining room. The food was delicious, with each of us sampling each other's dishes from gyoza to wonton noodle bowl, drunken noodles, crab rangoon, and more. Everything was cooked to perfection and I highly recommend this restaurant.

One of my favorite restaurants. I love it! I usually get the Duck Noodle Soup but all their dishes are delicious!

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening. Located on the corner, it had street parking available. We tried the crispy bok choy appetizer, shrimp pop, and the chef-recommended pork bun which were all delicious. For our main course, we had the super noodles tom yum soup topped with mussels, shrimp tempura, calamari, fish cake balls, egg, and lime. The homemade wonton soup with wontons was also delicious. The restaurant is brand new and opened earlier this year.

It's $14-$21 for a bowl of noodles, but the bowls are huge (I couldn't finish mine). The fried duck noodles were sooo good, and so was the thai iced tea (I'd drink it every day if I could). The staff was also very friendly, and even let us stay after we finished eating to work on homework until someone else needed the seat.
