Bidrage med feedbackWe recently had a lovely dinner in Fig Tree restaurant celebrating my husbands birthday. Reservation made in advance, the food was delicious, staff very friendly and warm. We would recommend this restaurant. The bread and beurre noisette, Spanish mackerel and chèvre, beetroot, hazelnut and honey were our favorites. The restaurant is BYO too. To give constructive feedback, cleaning could be a bit better there were dead flies and ants on the windowsill.
WoW what a fantastic experience. Visited this restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday on 21st July. Not only was the quality of food superb but also this restaurant had service to match. An truly wonderful experience we look forward to repeating in the very near future.
Daughters wedding was held here. The location is about 7km from Bryon Bay township. The location is beautiful, you look over the hinterland to the coast, Julian Rocks and the lighthouse. The wedding planner made the day perfect, every thing went off without a hitch. Food - well the food was exceptional, delicious, plenty of it. There seemed to be an endless supply of canapes and drinks on offer. They catered for meat-eaters and vegans, gluten and lactose free requirements. All with no problem. The service was smooth and seamless. Decor beautiful. The guests enjoyed the lawn games while the bride and groom were off having photos taken. Miss Molly the retro caravan was a fun little drinks bar. All in all highly recommended for weddings. The only drawback is limited parking for guests. The bridal party have use of a 4 bedroom house on the property for the night before and night of the wedding, breakfast is catered for by The Figtree
Fig Tree is in a rural setting in the Byron Hinterland, a lovely old style farmhouse surrounded by marvelous gardens and manicured lawns. Our visit was a birthday luncheon for 50 or so guests. We were welcomed with champagne and splendid finger food. We were seated for the main meal in the garden with a view of the Pacific Ocean and the Byron Light House. The main courses included Lamb, pasta and fish all extremely well cooked and served with vegetables, great bread and fine wine. There was no rush so the lunch went well into the afternoon and we finished with coffee and cake by the pool.Without doubt this is the finest eatery in the Byron Bay area.Warning one needs to book well in advance.
We had dinner last Saturday night.Excellent tasting menu showcasing local foods at $85 per head.BYO makes a cost effective option at only $5 per head.Service was great and friendly.
