Bidrage med feedbackFor 26 years we gave it a good run. In the words of writer for the Times Arnold Ropeik, the End of a Era, I enjoyed the people I met, the employees I had, and the purveyors, so many they are a lot. We didn't eat pizza, we didn't do breakfast unless asked, lunch and dinner, no entertainment but Brownie's jukebox. We didn't linger passed midnight or sold package, and if you didn't look old enough, carded, but we didn't entertain the Young, we entertained the cream of the crop of the 40 and older crowd, who appreciate fine dining and homestyle cooking, and don't ask me to make purple potatoes or reduction sauce, that's not my style. I went to work, as did my family, and if there are self purgatory's you classify the hospitality industry as one, you are always wondering if your product was up to the challenge of the consumer! There will never be another Lieggi's Ewing Manor, this I decree!
