Genki Sushi - Ewa Villages

The food and fish is of high quality which is why we like to go to Genki Sushi a lot. You need to put yourself on a waitlist once you arrive because it’s full most of the time. But the queue moves really quickly. They don’t have any coco amino sauce which is fine though because we were told to just bring our own.

Genki Sushi is always a win! The restaurant is clean, and their easy ordering system makes the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. They have a great selection of items, and I love that my favorites are always on the menu. The staff checks on the table regularly and quickly fixed an order error without any hassle. Consistently great service and delicious food—can’t recommend it enough!

Great variety of Sushi and the prices were very reasonable. It is also kid friendly and they will love the train delivery, so bring them alone! My suggestion is to try something different than your normal order and be pleasantly surprised.

If you go before dinner there’s little to no wait on the weekdays which is nice. Service is pretty good!! Me and my bf always go back ??

I checked in around 8:30 pm and noticed by 9:00 there were many tables open for seating and I was still waiting 9th in line. I finally went inside to ask how long the wait would be and apparently the “system” was down so they could not see the waitlist because it is all electronic and that was down, so they couldn’t see anyone on the waitlist. They just said it’s up to us if we want to continue to wait, but they didn’t know how much longer we needed to wait or if the system was going to come back on. By this time it was already 9:15 pm. I was extremely disappointed no one came outside to notify the parties who have been waiting what was going on. In addition, they need to come up with a better “system” just in case these things occur and cannot rely on something electronic. Families are waiting to eat and no worker is coming out to notify customers who are already waiting for a long time of what is occurring with the system being down for almost 25 minutes. We did end up leaving.
