Jody's Diner - Evanston

Good menu selection. Nicely cooked burgers and onion rings. The staff was timely and friendly, even during the busy hour. The food was nicely portioned and well priced. Maybe it was one thing, but there were so many flies around all areas of the restaurant. Maybe that's not normal, but it has put a damper on our experience.

The quintessential small hometown diner. Everything about Jody?s is just perfect! The service, the freshly made food, the care in the details, and the atmosphere is everything one could ask for, but seldom receive! Jody?s delivers!! ?T-Dig took exceptional care if us.

We went to Jody?s today for a date. I haven?t been here in a while so it was a nice change. I got the chocolate chip pancakes with eggs and sausage and my boyfriend got the Navajo taco. The server with the tattoo sleeves on her arms was our server and her service was better than I have ever had. Not once did her smile fade and she never stopped. Every worker has a nice pace and nobody was just standing around. Even the cooks were smiling and laughing. Food was amazing but atmosphere was even better. I most definitely will come get more often!

Delicious food! I had a burger. I'm never going without leftovers, and I've got this burger pretty inhaled. 10/10. And the fries are also great!

Great little town diver. Don't be fooled from outside. We held here on the basis of positive reviews and were not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and our food came fast. We had fried steak with white gravy and it was delicious. Also had vegetables beef soup with a lot of beef, that was very delicious. Very recommended!!
