Evanston Lou Malnati's Pizzeria

Great food. Lovely outdoor seating experience. Our server, Zoe, was exceptional.

We had friends and family rave about Lou's. Which usually tends to set the bar really high, and leads to disappointment. But this not only lived up to, but FAR exceeded our expectations. Not only first trip to Lou's, but first trip to Chicago ever in my wife and i's life. It was to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. This was a great way to celebrate.... With pizza? No! With Lou Malnati's pizza!!! Only one major complaint about Lou's... We will never be able to enjoy pizza the same way we used to, anywhere else, ever again!

Incredible pizza! My son's first Chicago deep dish. If you visit Northwestern this is a must.

Our first time at the Lou’s location in Evanston. The food (as always) was superb, but what really stood out was the service. We dined here on July 4th and there clearly was more business than staffing. Despite this, our server was gracious, attentive, and made sure we felt taken care of. Highly recommend the Lou Manalti’s in Evanston! Bonus: Great dining al fresco on a Summer’s evening! ?

I am used to eating at a downtown Chicago location of Lou Malnati 's. Perhaps quality of food and service vary location to location. At this location, there were very few people in the restaurant while we were there, but the pizzas took a VERY long time to come out. Atmosphere felt more like a fast food chain rather than a nice family restaurant. The deep dish pizza was about half as deep as normal. We got a thin crust as well, and it wasn 't cut through, so we had to fight for each slice. While I would normally recommend Lou Malnati 's, I sadly wouldn 't recommend this location, even though the location itself is phenomenal.
