Oyster Troff - Eustis

Greetings The group got together and we went out to The Troff this evening as a party of six. The place is a cozy place (not really setup for larger parties like ours but we made the best and sat at the bar. We had Andrew taking care of us and he did a great job! If you follow our reviews you will see that we review and score our restaurant visits based on the same criteria for each. Our scores are as follows: 23 30 atmosphere Loud sat at bar : no tables available 25 30 service Andrew was excellent! slow for food to come out. Not a place to go if you have time restrictions 27 30 food quality Clam strips overcooked Fried pickles (Dill pickles so they are a bit stronger than expected 30 30 portion no complaints on the serving sizes 29 30 value Seafood platter was on special making it a very good deal 6 out 6 would come back Overall 4.5 stars GREAT place and would recommend visiting!

I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta and I treated my friend who ordered the $50 oysters. He also got the shrimp. His food came and he finished everything. The restaurant was now empty except for us and I'm still waiting on my pasta. He's ready to leave and they said they need to boil fresh pasta. Super awkward. When it came I said I had to take it to go cause it was way too late. It was good when I got home. Just would have been nice to eat out with my friend.

Service A+ Went on a Sunday afternoon, beer on tap was ice cold, oysters were fresh, and service was on point! Love supporting local non chain businesses and this place is worth the try.

The best wings in Lake County! We came on a Wednesday night, I had awesome Buffalo wings, and my wife really liked their Barbecue wings. Friendly bartenders and great mixed drinks. We also had their traditional hush puppies, which were great as well. Actually, they were best I've had anywhere in the South!

This is not located downtown so there is easy parking, even a lot next to it with designated motorcycle parking. It's fairly small inside with most of the seating at either bar. Full bar with multiple options on tap, but no ciders. Coke products. Three servers tended to us, which was great. I had the shrimp dinner. Boiled shrimp was ok, a bit flimsy but tasted good. Hush puppies were amazing. I didn't care for the red beans and rice. They were saucy and there was a smoked flavor. I didn't even finish them. They clean the tables with a bleach-cleanser, which is great that they are diligently cleaning, but the smell is overwhelming and to me, unappetizing.
