Bidrage med feedbackSince the pandemic, they never seem to be open. Pick up orders seem to always be fully booked. I have been wanting their food for a year now, sadly. I hope things get better someday, but I'm not optimistic.
Dang this place is so good. I came for the first time ever on my 27th birthday. I love Szechuan food and was excited after hearing glowing reviews from friends. We ordered at least 6 different plates and loved almost all of them! We started with cold beef slices in chili oil and green onion pancakes. Then made our way to Kung Pao chicken (so much flavor!! , Pan fried noodles with pork, green beans (literally my favorite thing ever , a dish with spicy duck, and beef with green onion and onion. I've never been so excited to eat leftovers in my life! Everything was hot and fresh, delicious flavor and nicely presented. The only item we didn't like was the beef with green onions and onions. It was overburden with too many onions and seemed overpriced for the amount we paid. Another thing that turned me off was having to pay for white rice. Most Chinese restaurants will include it with at least one of the dinner entrees that we ordered. It seems essential to have rice with all these rich dishes that I wasn't expected or pleased to have to pay extra. Overall, I can't wait to go back. It isn't easy on your wallet, but this is fine dining Chinese food and I literally salivate thinking about their green beans. You gotta try them!
After reading reviews and the families craving for Chinese we decided to go here, even though prices are a little more than we like to pay. When you have a family to feed, gotta glance at the wallet too occasionally. This time we called it a splurge. We ordered more than usual. However, the appetizers were lacking in wow factor. The egg flower soup was bland and the pot stickers were blah. The good stuff was the fried rice, chow mein, kung pao chicken, and finally the chicken cubes in chili. All these were good and glad we got them. Flavors were there. The chicken cubes were of course on the spicy side, but even with a fire burning in my mouth I went for more. The staff was great and attentive. The only other thing I can say that was a downside is the parking lot can be a pain to find a spot to park. Definitely will return if we want to splurge for a great dinner, but will decide not to divulge in appetizers.
Authentic Chinese food. Highly recommend. Worth the wait time for a table. Outstanding.
Wow. Exceeded expectations! Lots of strong, delicious flavors! Delicious Sichuan food in the middle of Eugene. Not really very numbing or spicy, but the flavors were on point. The pig ears were nice and crispy. I can't remember what the beef dish was called... lastly, the sweet and sour soup might have been the best I've ever had! Check this place out!
