Dawns Place Cafe - Eufaula

The chicken fried steak and salad was delicious. However, the mashed potatoes we old and didn't taste good at all, and the green beans didn't even taste like green beans.

We ate dinner there last nightSome of the best food and service I've had in a restaurant.Every thing was clean, you could see into the kitchen and it was clean even though they were busy.They have hand sanitizer by the front doorTheir restrooms were clean they had soap and towels we had just left Cody Bob's restaurant) down the street because they didn't have any hand soap, I was told not even in the kitchen.

I eat here a lot and usually the food is decent but this morning I came in for my regular biscuit and lemon water but I waited 10 minutes for a water so I walked up to the counter and waited for another 5 minutes for the owner to come out and I said I had the water and she said yea I know I’m getting it you can go sit down now but was talking to me like I’m a toddler and it’s not professional at all she was rude the whole time so we left I don’t recommend this place anymore after my experience today, MAYBE IT IS BEST IF THEY CLOSE!!

Waffles were amazing. Honestly everything was delicious. I loved the small town setting.

I ordered a fish dinner to go and when I opened the dinner the mashed potatoes and gravy looked like soup. The fish was laying in the gravy and was soggy. My husband returned the dinner and the owner Dawn was extremely rude telling him the fish was fresh so it was supposed to be soggy. They refunded the cost of the dinner but were very rude. We are regular customers there and we will not be returning. If you could rate with zero stars that’s what they would get. If I was the owner I would be embarrassed to know that a dinner looking like this came out of my establishment.
