Bidrage med feedbackIt 's a neat place I would like to give them 4 or 5 stars but I just can 't. First, the positive. Really interesting decor. An assortment of old fashioned items for purchase. The cheeseburgers are good, exactly like you make at home. They 're hand pattied beef burgers you can get everything on them. Now the negative. No seating! They have a few bar stools a couple of card tables with folding chairs crowded into the restaurant portion of the small building outside their are some makeshift seating options but no real seating especially if you 're taking your family out for a bite. We had to sit in the noon day heat to eat. We were told by phone that hot dogs AND hamburgers would be $2 each. Well, when we got there we ordered 4 cheeseburgers 2 sides of French fries we were charged $30! That 's just outrageous! Having said that, we might go back to try the other 2 items for which they 're known, their milkshake the fried fruit pies. I 'll let y 'all know.
This is an AMAZING stop in this area. They sell all sort of wonderful and delicious treasures to be found here. Tons of Amish made wares. Including soaps, clothes, jam, jellies moonshine, etc. They also sell a lot of unusual and old soda. Lots of creams, ales and fruit flavored soda. Not to mention the little grill area where you can get old fashioned meals like fried baloney, hamburgers and grilled cheese. If you're anywhere near here, it is a must stop! The picture I attached is of the outside seating/eating area.
I love, love this shop! The assortment of Amish goods is amazing, but even better than the items for sale is the conversation. The owner and his young lady co-worker were so friendly, and I enjoyed talking Army/Navy with the owner.
Ike's is such a fun place to visit. I was so happy to see they had Moxie soda and Clark bars. Those are hard to come by these days. The girl who waited on me was super nice and friendly.
