Bidrage med feedbackCame for lunch, celebrated at the end of the summer. Started with Calamari, delicate, crunchy with smooth aloe. Definitely for more. Lunch Seafood Pasta, loaded with Calamari, scallops, steamers and shrimps. The shrimp we did well. But... the rest of the seafood was cooked for perfection. BBQ ribs were not too sweet in a good sauce. This comes from a master BBQer, with Fritten and Cole Slaw, the rake was fresh, crispy. Lunch wasn't busy. This is a great place.

As frequent patrons of Gabrielle 's, as well as Jonathan Rapp 's River Tavern, my mother and I were delighted to try out the latest addition to the Essex restaurant scene. Overall we had a very pleasant evening with great service and delicious food. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars due to the fact that there were some aspects that felt incomplete as if the restaurant was pushed to open earlier than they were actually ready. The good: We sat immediately for our reservation from 6 am with friendly staff. Our server was gracious and professional and both appetizers and entrees quickly came out. We shared the spinach salad, followed by fillet mignon, fry chicken breast with prosciutto and potato au gratin. The salad was delicious fresh green spinach leaves dressed with a light hand, by the correct amount of salty blue cheese, crispy crawlers, generous pieces of bacon and delicate ribbons of pickled red onion. The meats were perfectly cooked, their accompanying sauces demonstrated the kitchen 's and the potato-au-gratin was made perfection. Although everything tasted so well, we could have eaten it again, the portion sizes were ideal. The wine list was good, cheap and the wines we ordered were beautiful. The bar area is welcoming and attractive with beautiful lighting and ample seating. The bathroom: The bar did not work out how to send drinks in time as Diners would like. They only bring out bread when you ask (what I only did because I saw the table next to us to munch bread on a few dinners. The bread was delivered without oil or butter and it is basically unusable: dry, dense and hard. While we penetrated the menu, we asked some questions from our server that she honestly said she could not answer because the restaurant opened without the staff having a chance to taste the menu. Finally, the decor seemed bizarrely economical and incomplete. Various electric ropes were clearly torn from the ceiling, and the walls, while a rich red lacquered, are completely naked. There are large swamps of unused space on the front and back of the restaurant, which add for functions that heat and character to a space with hard wood and cold metal features. The Ugly: There is a huge, beautiful greenhouse behind the restaurant that uses the previous restaurant to grow their own greens. Sadly, Wright 's has made this an eye-catcher by providing it with restaurants. In addition, there seems to be a wasted opportunity to use "local ingredients wherever possible" on their mission: All in all, great start Wright 's! I would take perfect food and service every day with incomplete decor and details on the back! I can't wait to come back in a few months as soon as the bends are worked out.
