Bidrage med feedbackWe went here for lunch and ordered the cheeseburger and soft drink lunch special. The waitress seemed like she was bothered by us coming in, but there was only 2 or 3 other people in the restaurant. The burger was good, but they used a cheese sauce instead of sliced cheese so the burger was extremely messy. Fries were ok, but had no seasoning if you're into that sort of thing. It appeared to be a European atmosphere where they sit you down and leave you alone unless you wave them down. They have lots of beers on tap, but I'm not sure I'd order another burger here.
The Tap house is located on the second floor on the southwest side of Avenida Escazu. The food is excellent even to US Standards and the prices are reasonable. Good beer selection and menu. The staff is great and attentive.
Well I should have listen to reviews and my wife, but how do you mess up wings. We sat at the bar because we read the service reviews. We ordered two drinks but it took awhile for someone to take our food order. Service is bad here and servers seem miserable and unwilling to perform. When we did order the wings came out wrong, but we rolled with it. The wings also came out way too quick letting me know that they were not fried fresh and refried. The grease immediately made me and my wife sick and we found a long hair in our food. We waited forever for someone to come over. We noticed the staff were talking about us not eating her food. The manager or employee came over and did take the wings off our bill and offered something else. A sports bar is a good idea but this place needs an overhaul or shutdown because this type of services does not belong in this area or anywhere else.
Amazing selection of beers with a full liquor bar. Great IPA’s and Aperol Spritz for a stop in with tasty bites. BBQ Pulled Pork Lettuce Wraps Crispy Onion Rings. Enjoy!
I was looking for something light to eat, but most of the restaurants at Escazú were very formal for what I was looking for. I found a small image of a beer tap and a sign pointing to the second floor. They had about 10-12 tap beers and the rest were bottled. Unfortunately Guinness was only on bottles, but anyway good as usual. Reviewing the menu, I could not find anything light, except for salads, which I am not very fond for. Finally I settled for fried pork and Yuca fries. It was not a light dinner.
