Clinchfield Sub Station - Erwin

Wow. What an awesome find! While on vacation from NY we stopped here after going to USA Rafting which is not far away. Our boys love sandwiches and subs so I thought we?d give it a try! Simply put?.awesome!!!! The sandwiches were amazing and the waffle fries even better. The Turkey Club was one of the best ever. The Turkey was super fresh and sliced thinly and so good. All toppings were fresh. The two guys working the place were super nice and friendly and made us feel at home. This is a MUST place to stop and get some sandwiches. And the prices are very reasonable!!!! A small place but so worth it!!!! Super highly recommend!!!! If we had one of these on Long Island, NY, we?d be here a few times a week!!!!

Simply put this is the best Philly cheesesteak I have ever had!! The bread was perfect and it was loaded with plenty of steak. The waffle fries were also fantastic. I recommend the bacon and cheese waffle fries which I had. I saved some room for dessert and had the strawberry cheesecake which was also wonderful. Will definitely be back!!

Walking in to the small shop, to the right, a full menu. And the owner and his son will greet you warmly. The shop was clean and inviting, and the service was fast and superb. The food is amazing for the price. From burgers to an array of delicious subs both hot and cold, this was an amazing lunch.

Food was phenomenal and service was exceptional. I got a half Buffalo chicken sub with fries (pictured). Portions are amazing. The half is what I would consider a full. My half sub with fries and a large drink was under $10. It was made fresh in front of me and was handed to me hot. My only criticism is that I would like to see more seating and/or outdoor seating. I had to stand to wait for my food. But that is me picking on tiny details. I would also like to see some salads added to the menu but other than that, everything was 10 out of 10. I will be back every chance I get!

Sandwiches and fries are excellent! Staff is awesome! Small place but they execute their craft very well. Softest bread I've ever had. 5/5 will be back, definitely recommend. Give this small family owned business a shot!
