Bidrage med feedbackToday we've had a wonderful dinner in this typical german restaurant. We have got there through Trip and we have been welcomed by spontanous but very polite waiters. The menu had a wide list of dishes. We've been requested our favourite cooking point of the meat; which is not that common... Something unusual is also that beefs are cooked directly in the eating room, which let you watch exactly what are you about to eat : All Our requirement have been fully satisfied and some small changes that we have requested have been accepted. During the dinner waiters have asked us if everything tasted fine. Beer tasted good too and it was served cool in nice typical glasses. On every table there was a fresh flower and a lighted candle. The atmosphere was quite and even if there were pretty a lot of people there was no noise. The prices correspond the high quality of dishes! We fully recommend this restaurant to all who want to have a quite dinner for two or small groups.
I’ve been once with colleagues during a business trip and now I’ve return alone! I never go out for dinner alone but not choose a better place for a healthy dinner with good protein and other options than carbs. A steak of 200g and spinach leaves was the best choice that I could do. Tables surrounding had different choices with rice and fries or baked potatoes... all of them looked very nice! I would really recommend if you are looking for a charming place, quiet, with good and healthy meals! It deserves every € that I’ve spent!
The traditional restaurant Rauchfang is an ideal place to enjoy very good meat cuts in rustic atmosphere. The service is very obliging and attentive. Particularly recommendable are the different beef cuts which are prepared on an open, wood fired grill in front of the guest. I had a 300 g “Rumpsteak Argentina” with crispy roasted potatoes, green beans with bacon, herb butter and chimichurri sauce. The meat was rare grilled as desired and tender. The dish was paired by cold Franconian style bottom-fermented Zirndorfer draught Kellerbier (means beer nether clarified nor pasteurized). The quality of the served steaks is very good and worth to visit this restaurant again.
Always try and call here as the fillet steak is exceptional. Always cooked over an open fire and the quality and taste is unprecedented.
Very good Steak made on open wood fired BBQ! Very friendly staff! As well the starters are good and the menu varies with the specialities of the seasons. Always good to come here again.
