Arnie's Place Family - Erie

The food was great, I had L A Cinnamon French Toast and one side crispy bacon and other refills on our coffee. It was two big thick pieces French toast with a glaze on him and they were so big I could only eat a piece with a bite from the other. The service was excellent and the price was very reasonable. My bacon was as I like it and my breakfast companion didn't have the normal French toast and bacon my way. He also enjoyed his breakfast and when he lives in Indiana, he would come back when he's in Erie. I chose Arnie for breakfast and we were not disappointed by my choice I will definitely go back there.

Local place, nothing over the top. No refills on drinks (dumbest policy in restaurants ever). Got the steak and eggs as a breakfast item and got the eggs just right for me. The steak was a good cut, but medium rare became medium well and that was disappointing. Kids meals are well priced, and the pancakes were big. Everyone left happy even though the steak was overcooked.

I never ate here. My problem is with the owners and recruitment process. I submitted my application a few times. There were 2 different interviews. The interview was over an hour. We talked about making the kitchen bigger, food concepts, moving the cabinet in a runway. He was told he had a few other interviews before he made his mind. I waited a week, was told he needed more time. But to this day, he has been hired almost every month. What a fucking way to run a business to keep people waiting. No wonder why you always stand.

Great family-friendly little diner. Great service. Delicious food!
