Zum Rebstock - Erfurt

Had a very nice dinner curs. the chicory soup was up to the grilled salmon wire asparagus soup. that was nicely washed with a beautiful bottle of rauenthaler reisling. the earthy with minze pesto on mango ragout was the perfect end. to a perfect meal. thanks to the very friendly and efficient German woman waitress for her excellent recommendations. we had a final ball with a glass bitburger premium pils beer to finish a wonderful night with friends and employees.

The restaurant is actually located in the mercure hotel in the old town (old city) (Trip consultant please note that it is no longer the dorint hotel, but has its own outside entrance and works clearly as an independent restaurant. Usually mercure hotels offer only quite simple...restaurants, but this in erfurt is certainly an exception and offers quite a varied menu on the local thüringer kitchen. the menu includes an excellent selection of regional dishes along with a set menu and a la carte. my wife enjoyed a delicious calves liver with sauteten swash and kartoffeln and I had a regional beef roulade with a delicious filling accompanied with two thüringer knödeln, which were also excellent. the weinliste is the fairly standard Mercure offer in Germany, but it has many interesting German and foreign weine that are available through the glass (various sizes in the offer), so it is easy for everyone to choose their own preferences. the waiter who served us, seemed understandable and friendly and recommended some inexpensive wee, which he would best accompany the dishes. many of the a la carte dishes had their own individual wein recommendations. we shared an excellent pear and walnut strudel for dessert served with caramel ice cream and a compot of berries. we also had our five-year-old grandson with us and he enjoyed very much his (three bratwurst, with lots of fresh vegetables and potatoes and the excellent ice that followed. (many over the usual mediocre and laborious children's menus that appear in most restaurants all in all an excellent cheap meal with nice friendly service.

Good restaurant. very cozy with old town flair. the services are very fleeting and polite. good, bourgeois cuisine

The waiters are always very friendly and very binding. that makes me and my people really much joy at visiting. I've been so intrigued by a pension for a long time. I find this suitable locally for all types of events, whether with colleagues, friends or family. I usually didn't want to share it with my man anymore. ours have learned something from it and will order the next time per person a dessert.

Nach der Ankunft suchten wir gemeinsam mit unserem Hund ein eher ruhiger gelegenes Restaurant mit einheimischer Küche und Aussenflächen. Beide Wünsche wurden mehr als erfüllt und wir haben sehr lecker gespeist, unser Hund wurde mit Wasser versorgt und unser Kellner war sehr zuvorkommend. Vielen Dank !
