Barzani Memorial Center - Erbil

It's an really astonishing place. It has been taken care off really well. Beautifull views. And a great way to create a memorial place one of the leaders of Kurdistan. Recommend to visit

Barzani Memorial Center, located in Barzan village where (Mustafa Barzani) the Kurdish Leader is buried. Born: 14/Mar/1903 Died: 1/Mar/1979 This place is very well organized with a lot of trees and green gardens, it became a place for visitors for all parts of Kurdistan as well as for foreigners who visits this part of Kurdistan. There is a team who host guests who visit there, they are very respectful and professional.

One of the most iconic place you could ever visit is this one. The magical the Devine place. It's located well conveniently between the mountains on top of the hill. The streets are well paved and very clean. There is free parking place and restroom are available seperatly for both men and women. There is a cafe on site which is free for everyone. The cafe has nice seating area with chairs and Lookout window for the breath taking view of the memorial and the whole place of nature. This place holds the graves of Kurdish Nation father (Mala Mustafa Barzani) RIP. And his family members. The place has a resturant on site which they serve food during the lunch time. I have never visited this place and always wanted to do. And I finally did it. I recommend it 100% a must visit. Oh, one last thing is, you can visit this place with revealing clothes. You must be covered as it's a grave yard. If you visited this place and don't have anything to cover with, don't worry they got you covered and they will provide.

I was impressed by the serenity and the modest graves. An important place for Kurds, especially for Barzani Kurds.
