Best pub in the opposite, bar no. adnams beer and good pub-fayre eat (if present,) plus genuine traditional pub atmosphere and decor. her dry hopped lager the best on the market imho. now if it was only closer to thedon.

From America to visit local friends. absolutely love this place and eat the delicious. I wish we had such a pub in minnesota. will only have to come back;

This is a really special part of the world. Jane and Robin have maintained the quirkiness of this pub and is well worth a visit (not between 3-5 as it is closed)

I've been visiting this place on and off since the seventies still a great place.

Good quality pub food at a good price and a selection of real ales. last of the east end style pubs. please do not change the layout! please do not switch to a Gastro-Pub that they have the restaurant next door for people who want to have posh food!
