Bidrage med feedbackBooked this Hotel 11 months ago, requested a quiet room, rang the week prior to our arrival requesting a quiet room, and when checking in on Saturday 14th October request a quiet room again. When we returned to the hotel at approx 11.30pm we found our room was directly over the night club and the noise was terrible, and our window wouldn't close properly. We contacted the night porter who was very nice and kindly moved us to another room which was very quiet. Why we couldn't have been given this room first baffles me. Receptionist was not one bit helpful and it would appear that they don't care about their customers. No car park in the hotel. Breakfast was very basic.
Deposit charged straight away. Returned when housekeeping cleans room, took photos just incase. Room on first floor at front, be aswell lying out on the street. Maybe this is because booked through booking.com! Dont mind a bit of noise but this is unreal, old hotel, windows didnt block noise. Street cleaning takes place very early in the morning, bins also collected before 7 on a sunday morning. Fire alarm went off 6.45...... Awful, needless to say, they dont ask u did u enjoy ur stay. .... will know for again.
This was the worst place we stayed in. Came from Chicago and stayed on September 18. Got locked out for 25 minutes in the. rain, nobody would answer door bell at 11.02pm until we finally started kicking the door, there was one other guest locked out as well, both telephone numbers on the door were not answered. No mirror in the room and rain pouring down in the bathroom, also no coffee or tea in the room, and all they could say was sorry. $129 wasted for nothing. 11 days we spent in Ireland in B Bs and hotels, absolutely top of the line. Queens Hotel was absolutely a disaster. Shame on you.
Worst experience I have ever had in a hotel. I strongly recommend you stay somewhere else. Room old ,dowdy and mouldy. Bedcovers and sheets were clean, and there was a brand new shower curtain, also the shower was not too bad, however these small things did not make up for the dreadful management. Go there if you like to be disappointed, and don't forget to bring an extra €150 deposit in case you decide to trash the room! Ennis is lovely, such a shame this place exists there. It's a blot on the town. Pics or of the town and one of the best fish and chips I have had in a while. Definitely not the Queen's hotel. I can't show the pictures of the mouldy toilet seat, Broken plastics on the bath, and damaged door lock. Not recommended
Worst hotel I ever stayed in..staff was no help and very ignorant the noise was awful..they took €150 deposit which was not returned yet. Keep well clear people
