Sonne - Ennetbaden

Wir haben hier wieder sehr feines Essen genossen. All meine Gäste haben sich wohlgefühlt und sind zufrieden. Unsere Konfirmation bleibt unvergesslich. Danke Manuela, Petar und Eurem Team für den super freundlichen Service. Freu mich aufs nächste Mal bei Euch.

Wir haben gestern einen wunderschönen Abend hier verbracht. Die Athmosphäre ist einfach super stilvoll und trotzdem fühlt man sich hier so wohl wie bei Freunden. Essen war Spitze!

Dinner tonight was exceptionally good at a newish restaurant about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the train station in Baden. A traditional Swiss dinner of veal and mushrooms in a wonderfully rich (but not heavy) sauce with rosti (potatoes). Chef Herceg and his lovely wife treated us as if we were honored guests in their home, wanting to help translate/elaborate upon the menu, and giving us a few extra nice touches such as trying the homemade soup prepared for the next day (delicious), as well as an after dinner shot of a Croatian liqueur. Chef Herceg's recommended wines (a Croatian red and Croatian white) were spot on as was his homemade dark bread. Ambiance was lovely well appointed inside and a very pretty outside eating porch right on the rushing Limmatt River. Sonne (and the actual menu item we ordered) was recommended to us by a Baden local...and we are so very glad we followed her recommendation. Very happy to pass the recommendation forward...we would go to Sonne again in a heartbeat.

We loved everything....ambience, hospitality, vegetarian rice balls .....!! : we would love to get back here again and again :D My favourite .
