Maietta - ENGLISHTOWN

I went here today. There were a total of 2 other tables there. After waiting for 2 hours for our food they started yelling at my kids to calm down. If they had told us that the food was going to take 2 hours to come out we would've went somewhere else. After I complained that the food took too long, the guy threatened to call the police on us. Their behavior makes me wonder what is really going on there. The kids chicken fingers were cheap frozen chicken from a bag. I can't say how the entree was because I was kicked out for complaining about waiting so long for the food before any entree made it to the table. The couple who I assume own the place were screaming at me in the middle of the dining room in front of the few other customers that were there. I do not recommend this place.

This place reminds me of Italian restaurants my family brought me to in North Jersey when I was much younger. It has such a flair for tradition. All I can say is you won't be disappointed. I would highly suggest ordering a pasta dish since out of what we ordered those where on point. Gamberi Airolana shrimp with broth tomato's and fresh basil was simply fabulous!! It was beyond delicious with super fresh ingredients!! Not sure why? We never got our side salads which would have been nice since I love my salad....but the super fresh hot Italian bread made up for it. Highly recommend you give this place a try.

This used to be one of our favorite restaraunts. I think they may have changed not only some products they used to use but someone new in the kitchen. The last few orders have been so messed up. Wrong items, orders prepared wrong and pasta dishes over cooked and mush. Even the personal pizzas arent what they used to be. Very disappointing when more than half your order is wrong and whats right does not taste good.

Ive had everything from here and they never fail to impress me with the quality of the food
