Syros Taverna - Englewood

I and my husband went here a few months ago. The food was very good! he got the chicken and I ordered the steak, they where very accommodating to our dietary needs and changed the strong items for vegetables! the grilled Calamari was amazing!

Food was excellent. They don't sell alcohol so you have to bring your own bottle of wine.

First visit and was pleasantly surprised. The whole food was delicious and the fish was very fresh. It was a Wednesday night and all tables were always a good sign. We had food: roasted eggplants/Zucchini and grilled octopus for appetizers. Red snaps for two, Porgy (Durado), sardines. It's delicious. Service was also very good. Young waitress, but he was well trained. We're coming back!

I have eaten twice in Syros Taverna since November and I must day it is my new favorite restaurant!! The food is delicious and tastes fresh. The hostess is very accommodating and pleasant. I had the same waiter both times. His demon was both consistent. He was very attentive and seems to enjoy his job. I definitely go back!

This is an elegant Greek restaurant. Some of the menu items are a little high in price, but they are well worth the cost. There are a few inexpensive options to choose from as well, in case cost is a major concern. Our meals were everything we could've asked for—fresh food, generous serving sizes and phenomenal taste! We also had a great waitress. She was patient with our questions, as this was our first time having Greek cuisine, and she offered recommendations from the menu. We had an incredible overall experience and plan to return soon!
