Ratsstuben - Emmerich am Rhein

A very typical German place, with exquisite food and magnificent attention. Everything we ate was exquisite! The owner is a very nice lady who made us laugh and made us feel at home.

On the way to the Netherlands we stopped at the last German motorway exit and then found this really great place. On a square with a number of restaurants (and parking available) we were treated to large German dishes and excellent... service. The sour roast (sour beef, not too sour, although) was very good and so was the lamb. For the driver they wear a beautiful alcohol-free beer, the white house wine is also very acceptable. In addition, the very favorable prices and you have the production of a perfect farewell to Germany meal

I've been here 4 times now, and it never disappoints. Their steaks, schnitzels and flammkuchen are amazing. During asparagus season they have fantastic seasonal dishes. The host is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. Can't wait to go back!

We come here all the time from the Netherlands, it's all you want for German food. They use seasonal vegetables from the area for specials and the staff are efficient and friendly. Beer on tap and desserts too! If they have white asparagus, definitely try...the asparagus soup.

This was by far one of the best meals we had on our trip to Holland and Germany. Great schnitzel, white asparagus soup and baked white asparagus. also one in our party had a German Pizza.. Kind of interesting but not like a normal pizza....Stick to the German classics.
