We only chose this restaurant because we were meeting a real estate agent at the Pousada. The menu was okay and we chose two pork based dishes (usually great in Portugal . There were three other occupied tables, two with two people and one with four people. We were second in line for ordering. After waiting 45 minutes we asked where are food was. The (only waiter said that they prepared everything fresh for each order so it takes a long time to get it out of the freezer and cooked ! Our meal arrived 15 minutes later and we had five minutes to eat it before our meeting. That was no problem because the food was horrible. Both dishes and fries could have been prepared in under 20 minutes. Pork was tough and clams shrivelled and inedible. Waiter did apologise (whatever happened to keep the customer happy ? , sticking to his it 's fresh so it takes a long time story. Never again.

Service and kitchen very slow almost 1 hour to get a simple main dish. We arrived and wait almost 30minutes to bring the drinks, olives and some bread. The bread was dry, like at least one day old. The dish was very simple and not worth the price tag in the menu. Overall very poor experience. Please improve service and kitchen.
