Kowaliga - Elmore County

Went twice, once for lunch then a couple days later for dinner. Lunch was excellent. Dinner was TREMENDOUS. Great view, excellent service, drinks were refreshing, atmosphere and view were very nice. Employees were very attentive and friendly. If we're ever back on Beautiful Lake Martin.... we'll be back. In fact, we will be back!

One of our go-to places for dinner. Nice atmosphere (indoor and outdoor seating). Highly recommend.

My only complaint was the $5 charge for a side salad.

On vacation!! I have family in Alabama so my sister,and great nephew spent a week in Alexander City. The restaurant is at Lake Martin, a popular place for water sports and fishing. Totally family friendly, it has great views of the lake and sandy areas for the kids to play. Even has food so that kids and adults can feed the fish in the lake!! Food is American, but with a few southern dishes. We mainly had appetizers since we weren't really hungry and the smoked wings, onion dip with house made potato chips and pimento cheese with spicy pickles and crackers were very tasty! Plenty for the 5 of us!! Me and my cousin's girl ordered the grilled Gulf shrimp dinner that comes with 1 side and hushpuppies. Nicely seasoned and not overcooked. Decent beer and wine selections. I'm looking forward to going again when I go back and I recommend you do too if you're in the area!!

My daughter took me there while I was visiting. They food was excellent.
