Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe - Ellwood City

Hometown atmosphere with lots of seating. The chili is delicious. The girl that took my order was very courteous and conversation was as if we've been friends forever. Reasonable prices even under the political garbage these politicians are doing to food prices

A fine little hot dog shop, only provided parking is in the rear of the building and they make you walk all the way around it to the front to enter. Poor access for those that are handicapped with walking issues. There is busy street parking that rarely seems available. Food quality is fine, milkshakes are great! Staff greets you as you enter and is quick with ordering. Location is clean, but nothing is provided at the tables, it is all at a small counter bar area near the front of the location. There are also no waste bins that are customer facing, so you just need to pile your waste on the tray they provide you and return it to the serving counter when you are done eating. There is also a drive thru as well.

I ate here. Saturday, on the insistence of an employee here in my home state (not PA. He remembers this place and promised that I have the best chili dog I've ever eaten, and commissioned that I would also order cheeseries and a chocolate shake. Without respect for the Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe it was okay, but not the "best" chili dog I've ever had. The sauce is quite watery, and the hot dog for you Kenner is a warm dog. Not one that is grilled or made good. The fries looked like they were fat, but they were surprisingly 't, and had a really good taste. I wish I skipped the cheese sauce, they stand alone without them. The chocolateshake was good. In all, a very affordable lunch, but do not expect a miracle. A lunch companion ordered a burger (in the Hot Dog Shoppe!?) and said it was good.

First timer here! I have broken the unpronounced rule to go to a hot dog shoppe and order a burger, we simply say it was not disappointed. I enjoyed my burgers and fries and the shake was chocolate and delicious! In any case it is worth checking whether you have never been!
