Rivers Kuntry Katfish - Ellisville

It is somehow ironic to check this on urban spoons, because this place is anything but urban. It wasn't my first trip to Rivers. I have always received good food and appropriate attentive service. This visit was no different. I enjoyed everything I tried to cook shrimp, fish fillets or fried oysters. The Hushpuppies are some of the best. I think it's worth going to the Kuntry.

Great food and service. The steak and baked potato is good, but the homemade ice cream is the best!

The best catfish in this area. Fish is fresh and tastes great. Yummy sides like roasted corn on the Cob, Turnip Greens, baked potato and of course, hush puppies and frits. My son had the rib and it was juicy and delicious. The claw is also great!

My dad J.V.Pool and I have been eating here for years. We have friends who go with us every week. No complaint yet. Seeing the fish and eating is not the only thing that's good. You have the best steak ever. My father and my mother were their first cousins. Try this and I know you're going back. You also have the biggest burger I've ever seen.

Rivers is the BEST! Worth the drive...every single time! Best hushpuppies in the South!
