Just over all fair bit of stupidity in design of loading dock bays. Employee parking lot should be seperate. The fact they cant double stack box trucks or get them out of the way for their incoming deliveries is super frustrating and that is putting it nicely. It is so dam easy get better at your job people. See a problem fix it.Recieving door you have to duck and walk under a munch of refrigerator fans. Poor design. Door isnt labled.Over all very inconsiderate place towards truck drivers and honestly pins them against each other as it is first come first serve. Lack of organization is rediculous.Lack of concern or care to change and make life easier for drivers.Night office lady parks her jeep right in the way of loading dock 13. Making dock 14 hard to hit. When express frustration no one cares just say other driver can back up to it. Yes they do but there is a lot of frustration because the drivers can see there is space for things to be done correctly. Lack of managment and obvious lazziness. Great companies dont have these problems. Fix them or you will lose great delivery drivers.Why chose to act a certain way that is both annoying and frustrating to those around you? It kills your success and potential. I know this attitude affects your sales and bottom line.

I worked there for almost a year and all my injuries from the past started to catch up with me and went to doctors and was told not to work anymore. At that point it was my 25th year of working in the Seafood Industry.JJ Mcdonnell was a great place to work and the owner was a great boss and person who was very down to earth because he started at the bottom and worked his way up and I respect him for that. The place is very clean and a good environment to work on. A lot has changed since I left and I wish I could have been there for it. I will always regret that I never could give them 100% because of everything I was dealing with and they understood and worked with me.They have a lot of good people and if you want to work at a great place that is fast paced environment and always busy this is the place I would definitely go back if I could work.

Better delivery driver than any other company who delivers here. Whoever delivered on 6/4/21 around 6, to Rockville Pike 765... I appreciate them.I 've got so many dings in my car from parking next to where the easiest loading area is for the seafood restaurant a few doors down from where I work, but darn it all this stranger of a company driver was the first driver in three years that I 've seen actually made sure they were being careful opening their door near my car.It really shouldn 't be that big of a deal, but it absolutely is when the trend of 'hurried to the inconvenience or detriment of others ' vibes are replaced with just a half a second of thoughtfulness. I 've never eaten any of the products that come from your truck, but good sir, if it 's you delivering them... I would feel confident that they were delivered with more care than the compitition.Sincerely, work is slow and you did a nice thoughtful thing that took a bare half second longer and I freaking appreciate that. Nobody was around to see, I just saw it on the cameras. That stuff matters and I 'm all the way here for it!
