Jarosch Bakery - Elk Grove Village

Always top notch bakery. I came here since I was a kid. Chocolate chip strip is EXCELLENT.

My new favorite bakery! I picked up an order (an hour early) of paczkis today and the staff was so accommodating and pleasant. More importantly, the paczkis and cake slices were out of this world delicious! Jarosch doesn’t scrimp on the filling like most bakeries do. I have finally found a bakery that actually gives quality and service everyone deserves. Thank you!!

Friendly service. Despite being a busy Saturday, I didn't feel rushed at all as they put my order together. And of course all of the pastries were wonderful. Their cinnamon raisin bread is my favorite. They also have a raisin free version for those who don't like raisins. Great as usual

So I live in Lake Zurich and when we moved here in 87 we had a terrific bakery in Old World Bakery right next to Orchard Meats, a great butcher. So time went by where the owners sold Old World to a Russian couple which didn't keep up with the standards of the original Old World. So then they sold it to a very nice German gentleman who brought back some of the good things from Old World and introduced some new stuff. Well it didn't last that much longer and Old World shut down for good. And to tell the truth, there hasn't been a good bakery around LZ. Country Donuts in Crystal Lake has very good donuts. But coffee cake or Danish wise, we tried Deerfield Bakery in Buffalo Grove and they were over priced and no flavor.But then I cam across a nice little place in Elk Grove Village called Jarosch Bakery. And I can't tell you how pleased my family and I are with this place. Terrific coffee cakes and Danish and my niece loves their smiley face cookies. Wish we went here for our paczkis this year. But next year definitely.

Great service, great pastries... Place is small though so it's almost always packed... Otherwise always great to stop esp on Fat Tuesday for their cheese paczki
