Grumpy Goat Tavern - Elgin

I celebrated my 70th bday party with about 40 people. GG was incredible. We had hors d’oeuvres. Fabulous service, food was perfect and never an empty plate. Guests called us thanking us for inviting them! Chris and his staff were awesome in every way! Thank you so much for helping me rock 70!!!

We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. Good portion sizes, very tasty dishes, and reasonably priced. We recently held a bridal brunch in their three-season room, and everything was absolutely terrific! Chris was the coordinator, and he couldn't have been nicer. He was very accommodating, friendly, and responsive. Everyone had high praise for the breakfast foods served. I'd host another event at the Grumpy Goat without question!

Expensive cocktails with extra charge for ice if ordered on the rocks. Just charge more for drink.

The French Toast, Bacon and hash browns were fantastic.

We loved everything about it. The food was wonderful, and our server was friendly and helpful.
