Elephant Butte Inn

I'm not a picky person, but my God. Cockroaches on the stairs, dirt on the toilet, hair in AND on the toilet, hair in bed, dirt on the mirrors, fingerprints on everything. Gray smell. The spa and restaurant are both permanently closed, even if they advertise as both under their amenities. What a really strange and disgusting time.

Place has expired, dirty, smells bad. Rooms had used dirty towels suspended, semi-used bathroom amenities, no breakfast, have to pay for ice cream. I wouldn't stay again, even free.

Room was unbearable. We left another room at night in T or C. No one answered when we wanted to complain. No one at the reception.

The room was disgusting on arrival at night. No one was available at the reception to get clean sheets. Bathroom full of hair. Soils were clearly not chopped. Towels were disgusting. Pillows had Mascara on them. From another? Had to rent another room in t or c and drag my 7 month baby into comfort. Because nobody was there to help us. When we called this morning, the owner was very rude and said it? And his hands are bound. We have always used this inn and are extremely unimaginable. This place used to be wonderful. It was empty and should we? ve took this in a warning not to stay there. It won't come back. We miss the old inn.

Positive: Pet friendly, easy access to the lake, quiet. Great ac. Huge parking lot to accommodate boats with plugs for charging Negative: No restaurant or breakfast as it says in the description. The coffee cups in the room were filthy and the packets of sugar/creamer were opened and partially used. Fridge barely cold
