Kai - El Segundo

The best seafood you can get anywhere. I have been ordering from Kai for a few years now and my order is always on time and the food is the best quality you can possibly get. Yes, it's a bit expensive...but you get what you pay for!

Ordered fresh fish for sushi. The Ora King salmon was amazing. The otoro tuna was a joke. Don 't waste your time. They either don 't know what good tuna is, or they didn 't think I would know the difference. Either way, I wouldn 't count on them for sushi again.

Our first purchase from Kai Gourmet since we moved here from the Bay Area more than 4 years ago. If not for the Covid 19, I wouldn't even find this place though we live only 4 miles away. Pricey!? Yes, even compare to high end grocers. but the quality is top notch. We used to eat wild tiger prawns imported from Australia often while living in Asia, but hadn't seen them in the stores in the US until today the first delivery from Kai. Anyway, I think I will place my next order very soon!
