I love the atmosphere after their renovation and the customer service is always great. I've had croissants scones (best in Monument! coffee, quiche, and tea. The scones are moist and flavorful. Quiche and croissants are flaky and delicious. And everything is made fresh daily.

What a fantastic Tea and Coffee shop. Couldn't have had a better experience for a first time visit. Great tea and food. This place also has a small gift shop and a private seating area. Very clean bathroom and dining area. Best of all this is a British and Christian business. Highly recommend! Comfortable seating, cozy establishment and very friendly customers too.

If you want a hometown experience at a family-run coffee house, try Wesley Owens. My favorite drink is a Medium Frozen Mocha Frappe with, of course, whipped cream. Their whipped cream is thick so it lasts the whole drink. No one makes it like they do. No one. We love their homemade pastries but my favorite is the homemade biscuits and gravy. On a recent visit I had the last serving and it was delicious! I also recommend their quiches and their lox and bagels. Everything we've tried is excellent. Staff is friendly and they try hard to please all. It's busy when we go so the place can be a bit noisy. It's summertime now so go outside and sit at one of their tables. Great views of the mountains from their storefront and it's a relaxing oasis before you take a hike up to Palmer Lake on the Santa Fe Trail or jump on I25 as you speed off to go to work. I highly recommend a visit and maybe buy fresh imported English candies or a gift or two before you leave.
