Bidrage med feedbackThis its in an industrial part of town. There's nothing fancy about it. You can get fresh burritos made in front of you, which were phenomenal. We got there right before Thanksgiving and they were making tamales for the holiday you could order. And wedid! They're amazing.
Was eager to try this place out due to it being featured on a couple of food shows. Unfortunately, I was heart-breakingly disappointed! The burrito portions were tiny for almost $5 a pop and the beans were so salty the back of my throat stung. Mymouth felt like I had poured salt in it straight from the shaker. So bad I had to stop after two bites. To make matters worse, the cheese was non-existent and the tortillas had hard spots and tasted like they were a day old. I wanted to like this place, but you can get much better burritos at tons of other places on either side of the border for half the price. All hype, nosubstance.
I saw them in the food network and they are supposed to be the best. I've been trying to buy from here for several months but it seems like they hardly open. Honestly I'm not impressed. The burrito portion is too small for the price and was mostly beans, itwas not filling. The selection was slim, the cashier was pleasant, the person that gives you the food just threw my burritos myway, no receipt nor a thank you from the staff. Not complaining, but not sure what the whole hype was for.. if you are hungrylook elsewhere because you will go broke ordering enough to fill you up.
After hearing, this was on diners, drive-ins and dives, my wife and I were excited to go there. Ordered the brisket tacos and something had a burnt taste to it, I think it was the oil. I don?t expect I would go back. They look delicious.
Best food I've found in El Paso. Deep fried brisket tacos, chile rellenos, burritos, chile con queso, wedding cookies. To-go only. They sell out early, but you can order a day ahead. Excellent!
