La Choza Menudazo Tamalotes - El Paso

Excellent customer service and delicious, authentic food!

Came to La Choza after a horrible experience at los toreados restaurant. I ordered a combo plate with a chile relleno, pork tamale and flauta, with a side of rice and beans. Everything tasted really good. Reminded me of my grandma’s cooking with the exception that my grandma used chunks of pork and these were shredded but the flavor of the food down to the red salsa was spicy and delicious. The service was fast and friendly. We ended up being glad that the other place didn’t seat us cause we would have never tried this place. We will definitely be back again!

La Choza restaurant has left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated. I arrived with a group of six, only to be told by an unfriendly hostess that we couldn 't be seated because two of our party weren 't inside yet. Despite the hostess promising to save our table, she refused to seat us until everyone was physically present. This absurd policy led to an unnecessary and infuriating wait. The inflexibility and lack of customer service were astonishing. I won 't be returning to La Choza and would advise others to avoid this place unless you enjoy being treated poorly and waiting around for no good reason.

Terrible Service, very horrible, they have people standing outside when there are many tables available inside, the waitress's excuse was that she couldn't seat people because it would take a while to serve them, instead of having annoying people outside they should have to seat them even though they are late after we finally passed the front door the waitress did not want to seat us because we said that two other people were parking, which were the rules, don't worry, we had already been there before and the same thing happened, we gave it a second chance and We were completely disappointed. I don't know if the owners are aware of how they treat customers but it's horrible. We'll never go again.

I had the machaca plate. The food was not exceptional but it was pretty good. Our server was pleasant but there was a communication issue. The atmosphere was inviting and somewhat festive.
