I Heart Boba - El Monte

So glad they closed it down the customer service by the lil teenage girls was just awful especially they way they tell u wait outside like if ur a dog .. good drinks but the service was just sad

Overall okay boba, got drinks at 50% sugar where applicable and boba itself had sugar flavor to sweeten which was good. Boba pearls were warm, always a sign of a good boba place as well.They did attempt to charge extra for no ice which I think is foolish, and boba pearls were a combination of small and big pearls…was not warned about this prior to receiving the drinks.Brown sugar boba milk latte(25% sugar) was best out of what I tried, matcha was bland and sesame milk was not the greatest but we were decently satisfied.However my family had some critiques and the boba was just average, so 3/5 stars.

First and last time I ever go here. Customer service was ok but the drink was oddly nasty. It tasted like expired milk. There was more ice than the actual drink i ordered. After $6 for almost a medium size drink mostly ice I felted like I was ripped off. There was nothing special about the drink I order.

The photos of this place feel really misleading. I came here expecting to be able to sit down and enjoy some tea for a bit, but this place is still acting like it 's 2020. There 's a tiny blocked off space in the entryway with plexiglass where you order. No one greets you, just stand there awkwardly until someone notices you 're there (odd when youre the only customer there and the door chimes when you walk in or you realize theres a small sign that says to ring bell when ready to order . Then there 's boxes all over the blocked off seating area like it 's a storage unit now.Once I ordered, I was told to go back outside and walk around to the other side of the store where they would call my name when it was ready. It 's just so odd to me that in the fall of 2022 a business is still operating like this. I know everyone has different comfort levels with covid and that 's fine, but if that 's the case I feel like the Google listing should accurately represent the real space. I wouldn 't have come all the way here if I knew the seating area wasn 't available.Other than all of this, the drink I ordered was indeed very good. I had the mango lychee oolong and it was fantastic. Not overly sweet, very balanced and flavorful. Wish I could 've been able to sit down and enjoy it more :

The waffles here are amazing!!! Never had anything like it before but now I am hooked!!!
