Bidrage med feedbackI've been lucky enough to eat in some fine restaurants in my time but little did I think that arguably the best steak I've ever had would be in a small establishment aside the promenade of El Campello, just outside Alicante. We were in Campello for a week of sun, escaping the incessant drizzle of Ireland. However, with a two year old in tow (who must sleep before 9pm or she turns into a demon of the underworld) our choices were limited due to many Spanish restaurants not opening until the late evening. Thankfully, Patagonia saved our bacon (beef). Suffice to say that we ate there for five nights in a row! Slightly embarrassing, yes, but worth it for the wondrous food and service... I say again, if you are a steak fan then the *ribeye, cooked blue*, is honestly *world class*. Gracias and Merci to the staff and our great waitresses, we will remember you!
The beef burger was raw inside. I asked for them do cook it more, and when I got it back the burger was still raw inside. I had to ask one more time before it was ok. Not a great experience.
There is a simple reason this is no 1. Quality throughout but it's Rib-eye is one of the best I have ever had I am 55 shh . Every bite caused me to close my eyes and quietly moan no-one noticed . Cooked to perfection is helped by a simple ask and picture board of how you want it. It's one of those times when food can excel the xxx thing. The wine which was great value for money was beautifully blended. Even the coffee excelled in its taste and heat. Make sure you book as it is quaint and a hidden jewel.
The food took too long, but I'm not going to lie, it was delicious, the waiter who hated us charming. But a waitress, my God. We all have problems, but I had less sympathy, unprofessional, well, not all of them have to work with gastronomics clearly. I hope to come back,
