Always good food, reasonable prices, good service!! A win all around.

The establishment has been around for quite some time. Everything was great, with the exception of the chicken taco. The marinade was not right for me. Mango tea, was delicious. Recommend. Overall, a nice place to eat authentic Mexican food.

You won?t leave hungry and the food was amazing. Staff is friendly and was even giving hugs to the locals as they left.

We have been eating at The Riv for years and years. Lately, the service has dropped off sharply in quality, and the food quality is inconsistent. Last night 's meal was the last straw. The waiter let us sit there without taking our order once the drinks were delivered, and later, he said I 'm pushing the kitchen to get your food out. He 's the one who needed a push. I questioned something on the bill, and the girl who delivered the check shrugged and gave me an IDK smirk, which is completely uncalled for. At one time, this restaurant was all about quality and excellent service, in addition to great food. There are many, many more good Mexican food restaurants to enjoy in this city, so goodbye to our old standard. The best thing the Riv can do is to vet their new hires adequately, and train them to not behave like they are still in middle school.

Never dined here while living in El Paso, but we visited recently for a private party. not at all fancy but that's what you want when having authentic northern Mexican food the enchiladas were amazing! and the staff handling all the drinks and service were incredible. everyone had a fantastic time, and there were some very hard-to-please guests in attendance.
