Jack In The Box - El Cajon

I had an outstanding experience at this restaurant. Honestly, why wouldn't I? As soon as I stepped in, the manager warmly welcomed me. I’m not certain he was the manager, but he certainly carried himself like one. I ordered my go-to meal (2 Jr. Jumbo Jacks with cheese and medium fries), and before I even had a chance to settle down in the immaculate lobby, my food was ready. I can already hear what you might be thinking—stale fries and old burgers, right? Absolutely not! My fries were fresh and piping hot, generously portioned, and the burgers were exceptional. Just like my overall experience here. It's a world apart from the Jack in the Box on Main Street (you can read my review of that place for details). The contrast between these two locations is like night and day. At this restaurant, I was treated like royalty, while at the Main Street one, I felt like a mere transient. Plus, they had the 'Good Sauce' readily available when other locations were out. It’s no wonder I keep coming back to this one! 10/10.

It was great to find them open on New Year’s Eve, especially since two of my usual spots were closed for in-store service at that time around 3 PM. The drive-thru was busy, so it took a few minutes for anyone to notice me when I walked in. However, the order was processed quickly, and I was able to make it to work on time despite my schedule. The teriyaki chicken bowl was delicious!
