Grandpa Tao Kitchen - El Cajon

First time trying this place. The young lady in the front was very friendly as soon as we walked in the door and was very attentive to all the customers. She has an amazing memory and remembered everything we ordered. The food was super delicious, fresh, and came out fast. Lots of customers in and out for pick up orders and the dining room got busy within minutes. Clean and cozy environment. Highly recommended!

The owner said my food was cold, which is why it 's oily! But it was actually hot as hell when I got it! And that oil is clearly cooking oil! Stop messing with my food! I asked the staff to give me another broth on my next order, and she agreed. So, I ordered another one, but guess what? She didn 't give me the extra broth! Instead, she wrote a note on how to eat the soup. ? By the way, I ordered it through DoorDash.The owner kept deleting my reviews ?

The Pho was excellent, and it's a huge bowl. The chicken wings were also very good.

Had the pho special and gf had the chicken pho, broth tasted really clean however the pho just tasted alright. Customer service was very friendly however the service was slow but I think there's only one person in the kitchen so I would cut them some slack.

I've eaten four times there since the switch of kips. so far I only got the BBQ sandwich for $5 and I have the suppe, both on special. the same great ambiente, maybe even better. I'm back. more specials, please! I'll be right back, and a wider choice of alcohol would be nice.
