Dolci Cafe Italiano - El Cajon

What a wonderful, quaint restaurant! I've been here a handful of times since moving to the area, and each visit has been stellar. Of the various dishes I've had, none have been less than excellent. Whether it's their calamari, arancini, salads, pasta dishes, etc., it's all tasty, fresh, and generously portioned. Not to mention the courteous, warm service! This is a the perfect spot for a pleasant meal with intimate company, and I personally consider it my favorite restaurant in the area. And a very special shout-out to their server Tony, who continues to provide excellent service with a smile each time I visit!

Food is too-shelf. Ambiance is surprisingly good. BUT: the Service is standout. Friendly, neighborly and educated server. I'll call him Tony-Rockstar. He has provided guidance on both visits. I've had the Sea Bass and Shrimp Pesto Pasta. Both dishes superior. Great value for this level of quality.

We ordered to go, but it did take me 5 phone calls to get through. I almost gave up! Glad I didn't. We ordered the meat ravioli (soooo good), Alfredo -rich and delicious, and the dolce pizza!!! We really enjoyed all of it and especially the ravioli. We would return, 4 stars due to not being able to reach them and also, slightly pricey. 3 dishes about $55.

First and foremost.... Food was delicious Our first time here trying different restaurants My experience was great, service was kinda inattentive may because they only have one waitress. This Restaurant has been here for years with great reviews. Ambiance was good It's a definitely a place to comeback and try the whole menu. Recommend

I can't express enough how much of a great waiter Tony is! I was so pleased with the service because of him. The food did not disappoint. I could not be happier with the results.
